There has been a sign war going on in a neighborhood on my jogging path. It started with someone/someones posting a bunch of these three days ago*

The next day, most of the signs had been taken down. The ones that had been left had been altered**

This morning, all the signs were taken down except this one, which seems like maybe a grudging compromise?

*Because it might be a bit confusing, I’ve photoshopped in black boxes to cover the community name, and yellow circled where the yellow sign is placed. All other alterations are real on the signs and not made by me.

** I feel like the mask issue will upset some people. It’s important to wear masks if you can’t maintain social distance! And a study on the CDC website is saying Covid can be detected in the air 13 feet away from a sick patient. I wouldn’t walk that trail, but if I had to, I would wear a mask, because I might not see someone coming around the bend, and the trail is narrow.

But I would (and it feels like this is the real important part these days) ALSO wear a smile.
