If you have been reading this blog from it\u2019s VERY INCEPTION, you know I\u2019ve been keeping the top layer of my wedding cake in the freezer all these many years. If you haven\u2019t been around since the days of Live Journal, here\u2019s the very first post on this topic<\/a>, archived and documented.<\/p>\n

Well, mutherfuckers, it\u2019s been 18 years. These pictures were taken this month. This gd wedding cake is aging better than I am.<\/p>\n

PS: I pointed out to my husband that our marriage is getting up into the length of major felony convictions. Like, people who committed manslaughter\/armed robbery the week we got married have conceivably paid their debt and are now walking free. For some reason, he took offense. But I didn\u2019t mean it like our marriage is a punishment, I\u2019m just in awe at the length of time we\u2019ve put in.<\/p>\n

*I really wanted to use “pounded in the butt by the physical manifestation of freezerburn,” but it would have been stolen from this book title<\/a>, which is so awesome I cannot put into words. And further, every time I go look at the author’s catalogue<\/a>, my day gets better.
